Present at the next edition of PRIMA

Smithers are recruiting for papers from experts at the forefront of pulp, paper and packaging innovation to present at PRIMA 2025.

If you have something to share on any of the below topics, or if you have something else that you think will be of interest to this audience, we want to hear from you:

• Impact of rapid economic and societal disruption on the fibre-based industry and supply chain

• Global and regional fibre competition dynamics: lumber v pulp v biomass v biochemicals
• Future for graphic paper – and transition to alternative products and segments
• Circularity, reuse and recycling – taxonomy, targets, harmonization, practical challenges
• Regulatory compliance – single use plastic, food safety, reuse and recycling – where do the discrepancies lie and how might they be resolved?
• Brand owners and retailers - what are their realistic sustainability targets; how should the paper, tissue and packaging supply chain respond?
• Innovation progress - barrier coatings, reducing polymer content, nano products & fibres
